Child Has Possible Hemophilia. Has 3 Knots Near Spine. Has Congestion And Fever. Advice?
my 2 year old son who very possibly has hemophilia has three knots very close to his spine. its in the upper lumbar section and started as one knot and now there are three. there are no signs of internal bleeding,no discoloration, no pain, no heat,so its not a bleed. he has become sick in the last 24 hrs. it seems like congestion and allergies only with a slight fever. this could be very serious but I don't have 15.00 for an answer from what may or may not be a real doc. Okay, so it seems that he has small nodular swellings in his spinal region from the waist downwards. These may either be infections of the skin or tiny bleeds inside the skin. Only an imaging study like a CT scan or MRI of the spinal region will help to understand the swellings better.
