Child Has Nosebleeds. Bloodclot In Nose. Need Help
My 11 year old daughter has had like 5 nosebleeds this week. Now I figured it was because she has had the flu. But she gets nosebleeds quite often? One time she pulled a very large bloodclot from her nose, and now this morning there is something in her nose. It kind of looks like maybe she rubbed the inside skin of her nose off and its just hanging there? What is your advise?

Child Has Nosebleeds. Bloodclot In Nose. Need Help
Hi, Thanks for writing to health care magic. Nose picking is the most common cause of nasal bleeding in children. Physical examination by your doctor will identify the exact cause. Hypertension should be ruled out and blood pressure should be taken. Some time blood investigations like platelet count are required. Take care.
