Child Has Fever, Rash On Feet, Burst Blister. Given Colpol
Hi i have 7 yr old son. He had a fever complained of feeling sick. His both feet at top has what looks like a rash upto just above his ankle and his one foot swole up more than the other. He had a blister wich had burst and he was playing in what i believe to be sea water. And also spent alot of time playing in sand dunes in the uk. I have given him colpol for fever he has picked up abit but is eating loads now, still complains of feeling sick and tummy hurts to lie on.The swelling has gone down a little. Rash is sore to touch. Still has a slight tempeture.
Those blisters etc could be because of bacterial infection. The fever could also be because of that. A physical examination and investigations will confirm the same.
Your doctor after confirming the diagnosis may prescribe antibiotic orally and local antibiotic if required.

Child Has Fever, Rash On Feet, Burst Blister. Given Colpol
Hi, Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic. Your child seems having an bacterial infection of the skin at his feet with associated fever. It requires physical examination to find out the exact cause and may require both oral and topical antibiotic if it is due to bacterial infection. For fever, you can continue calpol in prescribed dose. Maintain and monitor his hydration. Consult the doctor for physical examination and treatment. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
