Child Has Fever, Cold, Sore Throat. Taking Crocin, Meftal, Clamp Kid Forte

My daughter is having fever simce morning at 5.30pm she had 101.5 fever i gave crocin DS 5ml then 9.30pm again she strtd having fever 102with chills we gave meftal p 5ml now after 6hrs 4am shes vng fever 100 whch medcn shld b gvn to her shes 4year old 16.2kg havng cold n sore throat on amtibotic clamp kid forte since ydy only plz advse rite now wht medcn to gvn 100f temp

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

As you have not mentioned the age of your daughter it is very difficult to advice the exact dosage but you can continue giving Crocin 4-6 hourly if the temperature is above 99F by axilla. Though you have started an antibiotic for the sore throat I shall suggest that you start a decongestant medication. It shall take some time for the temperature to normalize and you need to be patient.
