Child Has Fever And Cough. Given Fepanil. Suggestion?
my 4 year child is having fever since 4 days and cough mostly at night more than 10 days Iwas giving homeo but no remedy for the fever i was giving fepanil 125mg/5ml in that 7 ml single dose total of 4 dose /day.the fever was subsided after 2 days and again started after a 1 day break what you will suggest for her and also my 10 months old daughter having cough and running nose
After reading your post, it seems that your child is having viral fever. which should subside by its own.
Paracetamol can be given as adviced by your doctor to reduce the fever and decrease the discomfort felt due to the fever.
If the fever is still is persisting, you should get following investigations done :-
1. Complete Blood Count (CBC)
2. Liver Function Test (LFT)
3. Typhoid Test
4. Malaria Test
5. Urine (Routine and Microscopic)
Medicines can be added, if needed according to the reports.
Regarding your daughter, you can give her antiallergy medicines after getting her examined by a Paeditrician.
