Child Has Fever. Red, Swollen Gums, Blister On Chin. What Is It?

my 2 year old son has had a fever for a few days i took him to the hospital probably 3days ago and they did all sorts of tests, strep test and also they took x rays to make sure there was nothing related to his lungs.. they said all the tests came out clear and it was just a viral infection and to give him tylenol until it goes away. the day after we left the hospital his gums got very red and swollen and he had a blister on his chin .. it has been probably.. 2 days maybe more and i dont see it getting any better.. and i dont know what it is :(

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for your query,
as mentioned by you your son is investigated and all tests were normal so nothing to worry, swollen gums and blister is also mostly a part of ongoing disease process only and is also viral in nature.
Continue with paracetamol till fever subsides, give him plenty of fluids, fruit juices as vitamin C helps in healing.avoid all kind of fried and junk food.If his symptoms do ot get better than again take pediatric consultation.
Your son will be fine,
God bless
