Child has atrial flutter, whole body shaking even while sleeping. Is this normal?

i have a week old girl diagnosed with a atrial flutter , they said bring her back in 1 month that it s to early for any testing, the problem is her whole body shakes continuously even when sleeping, is this normal, their is a strong history of heart disease in family

Dear patient,

Atrial flutter is usually a benign well tolerated arrhythmia, that would not cause the shaking that you describe; given her young age and abnormal body movements, I would be more suspicious of a seizure disorder; I would encourage you to explore this possibility with your pediatrician.
