Child Got Bit, Red Bump On Calf, Swollen, Hurts. What Is It?

My 3 year old got bit by something while playing outside yesterday. I didn't see a noticeable bite but it was red all around with a bump in the middle and swollen. Today the redness is gone and the settling is down a little however it still feels hard and it hurts him. Is located on the back of his calf. What could it be?

Hello dear
It can be a mosqito or bug bite.As calf muscles are quite active so any wound of calf skin takes more time to heal.If possible administer any antiallergic syrup like avil or allegra or citrizine.Apply. antibiotic ointment over it so that there should be no secondary infection.Relax. your baby will be fine in 4 to 5 days.if still it persist just consult your physician.
