Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query at healthcaremagic.com and giving us this opportunity to clarify your doubts.
Well, there can be some changes in the stools consistency depending on the food intake. I will tell you some of the secret points (danger signs) for any loose stools which should immediately alert you and take you to your pediatrician.:
1) Is there blood AND mucous in the stools?
2) Is it very foul smelling each time?
3) Is it very watery, bulky, large volume?
4) Is it associated with pain in the abdomen?
5) Is it associated with fever, dehydration, reduced urine output, lethargy, tiredness?

I would actually want to know when did you deworm your son the last time. It would be a good idea rather to deworm him now if it was not done in the past 6 months. As long as the above danger signs are not seen, it is of no urgent concern. But, if in doubt you should take him to your pediatrican who can see him and treat him accordingly if any problem.

I hope I have been successful in clarifying your doubts and will be always available for any further queries of yours. Take care and stay healthy.
