Child Advised Panadol And Nurofen For Typhoid After Blood Report. Should I Seek Second Opinion?

My 10 yr old daughter's widal report says

SLIDE METHOD - WIDAL
Salmonella Typhi "O" - Positive (1 : 80)
Salmonella Typhi "H" - Negative
Salmonella Typhi "AH" - Negative
Salmonella Typhi "BH" - Negative
She has high fever 100-102 since last 2 days. As per doctor's advise we are giving Panadol and Nurofen regularly. Doctor said she has Typhoid based on the blood report and advised "Suprax 400 mg" daily one tablet for 10 days. Should I take secon opinion?

Hi,

Your child has typhoid fever as per blood report.
continue the prescribed medicine with light diet. There is no need for second opinion.
once the course of medicine is over for 10 days you should go for widal test again to see if it has subsided.
