Child. Small Patch Of Red, Dry Skin On Chest Turned Brown And Smooth After 2 Months. No Pain Or Itching. Concerning?

My 6yr old daughter had small patch of skinf on the front of her chest (where it meets her neck) about the size of a quarter that was red and felt like dry skin. After about 6-8weeks it has now turned a very light brown and is very smooth. It does not bother her to the touch. I'm a bit worried that this suddenly appeared.

Hello:
It looks like contact or allergic dermatitis.
Allergy to nickel is one of the most common causes of skin reaction in children. The skin red path may correspond to the location of snaps on her pajamas or other garments. Maybe a charm in a necklace...
You need to do a little "detective" work to help you discover what may have caused such a patch.
