Hello.Although both pathologies cause headache, there are signs to differentiate them. The migraine pain is located in one half of the head or around the eye, sinus pain is located on the front or both sides of the nose.
The vomiting is a common symptom of migraine, it is not often that a sinus infection cause vomiting.Mucus and nasal obstruction are symtoms of sinus infection that do not appear in migraine.Recurrence of pain is more typical of migraine.Besides other characteristics of migraine are:
family history of migraine, intolerance to light and noise, appearance of pain by stress or eating foods like cheese.By what you say:pain with vomiting, recurrent, without nasal symptoms .I think the most likely diagnosis is migraine but with a normal sinus radiography , sinus infection is ruled out.
Go to your Doctor to request radiography.I wish you good health
