Chest X-ray Report Showing Nodulocalcific Densities In The Lungs, Blunted Sulcus. PTB? Am I Fit To Travel?

hi im charlie, got my latest chest xray result with report of Nodulocalcific densities are seen at the upper lung fields. The left CP sulcus is blunted. Heart is not enlarge. Diaphragm & right CP sulci are intact. Trachea is at the midline. The rest of the visualized soft tissues & osseous structure are unremarkable. And then the impression is PTB,probably inactive. Left pleural reaction.
Now i completed 6 months treatment and my doctor gave me medical certificate that i am fit to travel and work but scar seen at the upper lung field. my question is, can i pass the Medical exam with this kind of chest xray result?

Hi,
Thanks for your query,
Usually tubercular heals by the process of fibrosis. and you have said that you have just completed six months of treatment. The abovesaid shadows in your question may be the fibrotic healed lesions.
Go for a sputum for acid fast bacilli examination.
Since tuberculosis usually do not affect pulmonary reserve drastically, I believe you will pass the medical exam and you are also fit to travel.....

Best wishes
