Hi,

I would like to know few things like how long you have been suffering from chest pain? Is it associated with breathlessness on exertion or seating and palpitation? If answer to above question is yes then it indicates heart related problem?
To rule out heart disease you need to undergo exercise treadmill test and ECG [electrocardiography].

Some times pain to Lung related conditions e.g pneumonia/abscess/fluid in lung will cause similar symptoms but fever might be present there and needs X-ray to be done to rule out it.
Again symptoms due gastric or duodenal ulcers and cholecystitis will be similar.

So thorough clinical examination and imaging is required to diagnose condition. Consult physician for the same.
Take care.

Best regards,
Dr. Neelam.
