Hi. Tenovate contains clobetasol propionate which is superpotent steroid and not recommended to be used on face(not more than 2 weeks if at all).
Steroids are like a double edges sword. They cause harm if used indiscriminately.
Some of the side effects of using a potent steroid on face are:
1. Itching 2. Redness and flushing (steroid rosacea) 3. skin thinning and telangiectasias(Dilated blood vessels) 4. photosensitivity 5. dryness 6. acne. 7. facial hair growth which can be troublesome esp. in females 8. striae
stop using it altogether and consult a dermatologist. Your dermatologist might put you on a less potent steroid to wean off for 2-3 weeks and then stop it.
use a moisturiising cream like cetaphil for your sensitive skin.
Use a broad spectrum sunscreen effective against both UVA and UVB
