Cause Of Fainting After Taking Benadryl For Itching?
I took one 25mg Benadryl at 3:30pm went to bed around 8pm, woke up at 2:00am, went to get a drink of water and both legs gave out. The next thing I knew I was getting up off the floor. I don t remember falling I was completely out of it. I have taken this in the past and never had any problems. I took this for itching.

You have been using anti histaminic medicine named diphenhydramine for your your itching problem.Anti histaminic medicine have certain common side effects like sleepiness, dizziness,coordination problems,gastric upset etc.So this can be a reason why you faint but dont worry this is dose dependent and you will be alright soon.So take care
