Cause For Weight Gain, Bloating And Water Build Up?

I was checking to see if Pravastatin 40mg or montelukast 10mg contain steroids or anything that would cause weight gain, bloat, water build up. I am also on Levothyroxin 100mcg & Omerprazole 20mg. Would the first 2 interfere with the last 2 like causing any of the above symptoms? PS I have Diverticulitis & high cholestrol-thyroid removed & allergies living in AZ

I am so sorry to hear about this water build up and the weight gain that you have suggested. Weigh gain, fluid retention, high cholesterol and bloating are typical signs and symptoms of hypothyroidism. You need to make sure you a re well treated for hypothyroidism to rule it out as a possible cause of these symptoms. Talk to your doctor about doing a TSH level and also review your symptoms to make sure you are well medicated for the thyroid condition as it seems to explain most of your symptoms and the high cholesterol levels. Your medications are not common causes of these symptoms that you have reported.
