ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, most common reason for the symptom of something stuck in throat is reflux. Use of proton pump inhibitors for three weeks is usually prescribed. Syp. Mucain gel along with the above medicine is usually helpful. If the symptoms do not respond completely, a endoscopic examination of larynx, pharynx and esophagus is required to rule out any mass/lesion in the region. Regards
