Can Withdrawal From Diproson And Lemovate Cause Acne And Allergic Reactions?
hello Doctor I m Teddy. I have 33 years I used cream in face several years. like diproson, lemovate,...which contain clobetasol of propionate. when I stop using them I have kind of allergy ,small acne whey irritate. I wanna stop using them. What can I do? Thanks
Hi Teddy, For which problem you are using clobetasol dipropionate cream on face since this long time that you haven't mentioned. Most common use of this cream is in eczema. Now,any steroid whether in topical, tablet or injectable form, used in skin diseases should be proper and after curing the problem, its withdrawal should always be gradual otherwise there can be a withdrawal syndrome. For that you can ask your dermatologist for how to withdraw. For your face acne, irritation you must take a dermatologist's advise. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
