Can Wine Be Taken While Having Lumbar Spinal Stenosis?

Hi, I have been diagnose with lumbar spinal stenosis; I have the pains in my legs & can t do all the physical activities that I could before. I still can swim & do yoga. I know that alcohol can affect the nervous system, but I do find a glass of wine reaxing. What are the limits for it? Thanks

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are only using a glass of wine, this is fine and would not cause any problems.

If you are using a lot more than this , more than three glasses daily then it is possible that this would have an effect.
Excess alcohol use can be associated with a decline in vitamin b12 and folate levels which can be associated with neuropathy (abnormal nerve function).

I hope this helps
