Can Warticon Cause Swelling And Burning In The Vaginal Area?

Hi ive been using warticon to treat GW. I used it for a 2week duration in June, but they returned. I have just completed my first 3 days of warticon and and on the first day of my break. I have alot of swelling and burning of my outer vaginal lips. I can hardly sit or walk. However it doesnt hurt to urinate. Could i be allergic to the medication? or have i just been a bit too liberal in my application and burnt healthy skin? i felt a small amount of burning last time i used waritcon but not to this extent. Thanks, Im female, 19, 8stone and 5ft2.

Hi,

Warticon is a topical cream which is used to treat and cure anogenital warts. It can be used on soft warts within a small area. It will prevent the growth and spread of warts and helping them fade. Its active ingredient is Podophyllotoxin. Its side effects are wearing away of the top layer of skin, irritation, redness, itching, burning sensations, swelling, bleeding, skin ulcers, scabs, dry skin, blisters, skin discoloration etc. If you experience any severe forms of serious side effects like burning, stinging, pain, bleeding, itching or swelling of treated skin, then immediately wash the cream from your skin and contact your doctor as soon as possible.

Take care. Hope I have answered your questions. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
