Can Urea And Creatinine Levels Be Reduced Through Dialysis?

hi sir my father have a problem in kidney past 15 days .before that we didn t get any symptoms like present but doctor said its longtime problem .. starting itself we are doing dialysis.can i know if i start dialysis it has to be continue long time or incase if control the urea & creatinine level it will be reduce or not
