Can Uneasiness And Pain In The Heart Be Side Effects Of Atocor-F?

I am taking tablet Atcor F for cholesterol and Triglycerides lowering with aspirin 75. my Atreieis are blocked 40% and 20%. Doctor advised to take those medicines. Since start up this medicine I feeling when I talk loudly I get hard on heart and uneasiness. Is it a side effect of Atcor F

Hi,

The signs that you described are not the side effect of the medication. Atcor F is a statin group medicine prescribed to normalize cholesterol level and reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack and other cardiovascular complications. The medicine is usually well tolerated. The most common side effects are muscle pain, abdominal discomfort and liver dysfunction. Atcor F may cause chest muscle pain if a patient is taking the medicine for a long period of time. The start of your symptoms with te start of
In your case we should first exclude heart problems (eg angina). Please, visit your doctor regarding your health problem. Usually ECG, stress test and blood tests are done initially. If the heart function is normal the other causes: respiratory (lungs), musculoskeletal (costochondritis) or gastrointestinal systems should be further investigated (you might have a pain radiating to your heart from other organs).
