Can Ulcer In Arm Cause PVC?

My 66 year old mother recently went to the ER for PVCs. After a lot of blood work, chest xray and EKG they could find no cause. She does have a large untreated ulcer on her upper arm (that she has had for two years) that the doctor referred us to wound care. Could the ulcer be causing the PVCs?

Hi welcome to HCM.
Arm ulcer would be responsible for the PVC's.In most cases no definite cause can be found out and most of the cases are benign.Consumption of large quantities of coffee can lead to VPC's.I advise you to have an EP study of the heart to accurately assess the VPC's and its source of production.Drugs like beta blockers will help to reduce these ectopic heartbeats.Radiofrequency ablation can offer permanent cure in case of aberrant conduction pathway.Consult your cardiologist for further help.
Thank you.
