Can Tooth Abscess Get Worse Due To Consumption Of Marijuana?

I had this tooth abscess on my gum next to my filled in tooth for years, I would say 16-17... I m 20 now and I smoke weed to deal with stress, allergies and pain throughout my body including the tooth pain and wisdom tooth pain ... Will it affect the abscess even more?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it is true that smoking week will increase pain and discomfort inside mouth as the heat generated while smoking will increase Inflammation and it will exaggerate the pain and discomfort..
Smoking is on the other hand harmful for the health of lungs as it can cause lung cancer..
In case of you have pain in wisdom tooth as well as abscessed tooth, you should consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and an x ray can help in diagnosis..
You can be advised either Root Canal treatment or extraction of tooth depending upon condition of tooth..
For wisdom tooth either removal of gum flap that lies over wisdom tooth or extraction of tooth is advised..
For allergies consult an Allergist and anti allergics can be advised..
