Can Tightness In Calf Muscle Be A Symptom Of DVT?

Hi, I am a 21 year old male. Woke up with slight tightness localized in the calf muscles just behind or a bit lower the knees. I looked this up online and am paranoid that this could be DVT. All other symptoms are not shown, just slight tightness. Could this be DVT or is this something else?

Do not be worried at all. Although DVT causes muscle tightness, this does not happens suddenly. it occurs more commonly in older population! specially in a person who is bed ridden either due to some illness or obesity.More common in patients who are already having some surgeries or medications like steroids. Your sudden muscle tightness can be explained due to muscle spasm, hot water fomentation and diclofenec tablet will cure you. do not be panic by reading such things on Internet. if you want to know any thing else you can post in this forum?Take care.
