Can Thick White Mucus In Throat Be Due To Yeast And Fungal Infection In Mouth?

57 yr. old female 5ft 4in 145lbs.

diagnosed with sle .ra and sicca syndrome

I lost my saliva now four months I have this thick mucus that stays in the back

of my throat. I was diagnosed with yeast and a fungal infection in mouth as

well. The mucus is thick and white. I can't get it to come up and spit it out.

can you help me a diagnosis

This may be due to fungal infection or due to thickened secretion. If you can upload a good quality picture of your throat and also the secretion we can help you. But direct examination and culture will give definite diagnosis.
Keep doing betadine gargle and have plenty of fluids more often. With your doctor's advice you can try cevemeline. This may help you.
