Dear sir I understand your concern. I am very happy you are this conscientious because having a well controlled blood sugar is very important in preventing the onset of diabetic complications. in my opinion the reason for your diabetes is not single medication. Both the medications are having there own role in diabetes treatment metformin will help in reducing insulin resistance and help to keep our weight in check glimipride will increase our insulin out put so it always better to continue both The reason for you feeling weak ness may be due to low sugar but you should confirm it before doing any changes in medication The reason could be diabetic neuropathy also for that take tab neurobion once daily I suppose I have given the desired response if you have any other query please write back.
