Can Taking Ambien And Topiramate For Sleep Disorder And Migraine Lead To Diminishing Sex Drive?

Hello there. I am 40 year male that just got married for the first time in my life last year. When I was young producing an erection quick and didn t have a problem in performing. When i got older I noticed there were changes going on with my body. Let me give you a in site about my history. I have a sleeping a disorder that has been taken care of by my physican with Ambien (10mg) and a migraine medication called Topiramate (50mg). All the medication that I am taking is working and is helping me tremendously. Here is the question. I love my wife. Can the medication that I am taking effect sex drive, or does age have a factor into it? In my head I want to make love to her everyday, but my body is saying otherwise. This isn t a laughing matter. Is there a a way to correct this. Please give me any solution.

I understand your concerns completely.
I assure you that you problem is being considered seriously and no one is laughing on this issue.

Topiramate can affect sexual drive.
As it is helping you with your migraine, you have to continue the drug. But you can discuss with your doctor about reducing the doseto 25 if possible.

Ambien has no effect on sexual drive.

Certainly, there would be some difference in your sexual capacity when you were young and at this age of 40.

But as you are facing the problem, it can be treated depending on what symptoms you have.
For erection problem, tadalafil and for premature ejaculatio, dapoxetine can help. But these are prescription drugs.
