Can Taking Stilnox For Sleep Be Safe While On Paracetamol And Codeine?

I have tonsillitis and just started taking antibiotics { zenon 500mg } today & seems to have gotten worse, symptoms have not decreased yet. Took brofen 600mg in the morning n almost an hour ago took an effervescent tablet of 500mg paracetamol & 30mg codeine yet still have fever n body aches, I do want to get a constant nights sleep now & thinking of taking 10mg stilnox to help that, but wondering about any possible harmful side effects mixing the sleeping pill with what I ve already taken. Pls advise and thank you for ur assistance.

I have read your whole query and understand the concern.

You can continue to take zenon 500 mg,brufen 600 mg,paracetamol 500 mg with 30 mg codeine but I would advise you to take under doctor's guidance or with the prescription from your doctor especially antibiotic.

You will start improving after completing the dosage as it happens sometimes that it takes time to improve.

Also,there is no issue in taking stilnox (zolpidem tartrate 10 mg) if you have disturbed seep or not getting enough sleep but again you should take it under doctor's guidance and it must not be self medicated even if you are having the drug.

So,better to consult some local doctor or ENT who may advise you accordingly.
