Can taking Royal Jelly tablets cause heartburn and skin itching? I m 52 years old, went through premature menopause at 33 years of age. 3 years ago I was diagnosed with diabetes and angina. I ve been taking Royal Jelly tablets for a week now and I ve had bad heartburn for 3 or 4 days now and the skin on the backs of my hands and forearms feels like it s burning and itchy

If you are experiencing side effects from the medication then it would be best to discontinue it as soon as possible.
It is possible to be allergic to any medication or supplement.

You should also consider the use of an antihistamine and reflux medication to help with the effects that you are experiencing.
Both of these would be over the counter.
