Hi,

The normal cycle is a rise in estrogen followed by progesterone which turns the whole thing off. Unless pregnant.
There is a morning after pill and it is for a window of about 48 hrs. The progesterone will NOT stop a pregnancy of 2 or more weeks.

The theory is that the progesterone which is never 100 mg...maybe microgram 100? is that it prevents pregnancy. INducing abortion with it is doubtful to work.

But you might start with a pregnancy test. Without an exam, I can only give general information and this is general information not specific to you.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
