Can Taking Hydromorphone With Tylenol Be Safe For Ankle Pain?

I am taking hydromorphone every 8 hours IF NEEDED for severe foot and ankle pain and wonder if taking Tylenol 4 with codeine which I have on prescription as well would be bad. The hydromorphone does not seem to be very effective - I have been taking it since April 2015 after recovering from foot/ankle surgery. I don t take the hydromorphone regularly - usually I need it at the end of the day, whether I have been on my feet or sitting down or even resting with feet up. It seems I need it more frequently no matter what I have been doing. The cramps and spasms seem to come after I lie down although the last few days I get the pain even when moving around. Would there be a major drug reaction with the Tylenol and the hydromorphone? By the way, I have a high tolerance for drugs - even Tylenol extra has no effect on me.

No reaction of the Tylenol with the hydromorphone but the combination of the codeine and the hydromorphone could cause drowsiness
