General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You should get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist, it can be a Bartholin's cyst & before it gets infected or turns into an abscess you need to get it treated. It can occur due to sexually transmitted infections so get STD tests done. You may require Antibiotics or antivirals.

It is better to get it treated before you conceive. Take care of your hygiene, wear cotton clothes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
