Can Swelling With Lumps In Breast Suggest Cancer?

I recently had my right breast swell up and become tender. I noticed a lump. Sonogram revealed solid mass with blood supply. The swelling and tenderness is gone and the lump remains. They are recommending US guided biopsy. Does this sound like breast cancer?

Hi

Swelling and lump in breast could be due to cancer.
I will also advise you to do a biopsy test to rule out malignancy.

DR DE
