Hi .. For about a week now I have noticed this weird rash that is blotchy and bumps that are a little raised and itchy it comes and goes and it actually went away for 2 days and then came back just now but was all over my body and a little warm .. I noticed when I get a little stressed or nervous/excited/anxious it gets more intensified .. Can you please help?
hi..thanks for the query..
The symptoms you mention seem to be a part of a disorder known as URTICARIA. this is manifested either for few days or months to years depending upon the severity. Altough it is not something that you should be very worried about, it runs a prolonged course of exacerbations and remissions in most cases. As IT IS ONLY A WEEK , i suggest you go ahead with a course of oral anti histaminic medicines which are available OTC in most countries. If it is persistent over 6-8 weeks ,you might require a blood test to be done.
Observe your daily routine carefully..Rightly said, some people do see the lesions after stress etc. In some ,a particular kind of food/inhalation may cause it.
take care!
