Can Steroids Intake Lead To Recurring Reflux Infections?

I was admitted to the hospital last Thursday with chest pain. I told them I had had quite a bit of steroids this summer and fall for sinus infections, bronchitis, etc., and they said that sometimes too many steroids can lead to reflux returning, even though I had surgery for reflux 10 years ago. What can you tell me about that?

Hi,
It seems that you might be having hyper acidity or gastritis mostly due to taken plenty of steroids.
Cut the dose of steroid after consulting your treating doctor or take medicine with omeprazole type of medicine.
Take Omeprazole or Rabiprazole for few days.
Take milk.
Avoid fried, chillies and junk food.
Ok and take care.
