Can Stents Be Put During An Angiogram?
I am 58 female 5 1 81 lbs, i have an angiogram schedule for Monday, I have done my stress test and all my blood work, I have bad circulation and the dr has told me that i need stents in my legs. My question is when i go to do my Angiogram if i need stents will they do them there or will i have to come back again?

If it wasn't planned then only angiography will be performed since angiography is done through femoral artery and for stent placement,special catheter and artery route are required. So the diagnostic angiography will be performed first and stent can be placed later.
