Can Sporlac Powder Be Given For Dysentry And What Is The Dosage?

Doctor my daughter is 4.4 yrs old and she is suffering from loose motion(6 to 7 times a day) for the 3 to 4 days and I bought a sporlac powder pockets so suggest me that how to feed this medicine? This medicine,can i suggest to my daughter to consume...Please advice

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. Yes, you can definitely give sporolac powder to your daughter. Sporolac is a probiotic and it is very helpful in diarrhea /dysentery to replenish gut flora. It should be dissolved in warm water. The dose is 1 teaspoon full (tsp) in warm water thrice daily for 3 to 4 days. Along with sporolac powder, you should also give ORS powder with zinc tablet.
