Can Smoking Marijuana Cause Annoying Cough?

hi ive been smoking marijuana for a while now for my own fun and to make work more interesting but over the last week or so ive had a shortness of breath that has now lead to an annoying cough and i was wondering if there was any way marijuana could be the cause (only thing that has changed in the last few weeks)

It is highly probable that marijuana is the cause of your cough.Like cigarettes, smoking marijuana also leads to inhalation of toxic fumes into your lungs which can harm your lungs thereby leading to many diseases which can manifest as cough and breathlessness.
