Can Smoking Cannabis The Night Before Cause Short Term Hair Miniaturization?

Can smoking cannabis the night before cause short term hair miniaturization? I believe this statement to be true as everytime i smoke cannabis my hair is thin the next morning but after several days of not smoking my hair grows back. Should this happen? Is there conclusive research to back up this idea.
