Can Slurred Speech, Drowsiness And Uneasiness Be Side-effects Of The Medicine, Gemcal?

My wife is offering from cronic schizophrenia. A week before Dr suggested for Test of 25 Hydroxyvitamin D. The result is 3 and Dr prescribed for Gemcal one tablet after breakfast everyday. After starting this medication my wife is feeling uneasiness, sleepy, speech disturbedetc. Is it the side effect of Gemcal??

Slurred speech, drowsiness and uneasiness etc are side effects of antipsychotic rather than calcium tablet. Being a patient of chronic schizophrenia, she must be on different antipsychotic and due to those drugs, she is getting these side effects. Better to discuss this with her psychiatrist and try to maintain the dose of antipsychotic.
