Can Sinus Infection Cause Acne?
Can a sinus infection cause acne? I have notice a direct connection between the two with past sinus infections. Right now I am dealing with some intense acid reflux (which I know is the route of my sinus infections) and I am having the worst breakout I have ever experienced. Again, the two seem related.

Welcome to HCM.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sinus infection and acne on face well this could be due to facial space infection and due to poor immunity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to I would suggest you to :
- Exfoliate gently once or twice a day with a salicylic acid-based exfoliant.
- Apply benzoyl peroxide cream or gel for killing the bacteria in the pore .
- Wash your face using a mild soap or cleanser and lukewarm water.
I would suggest you to visit dermatologist once and get it examined. Doctor may prescribe oral antibiotics like clindamycin , Isotretinoin or Hormonal Therapy. For now maintain proper hygiene , apply warm compresses and do not touch or pick the acne.
