my mom is taking this me she is not passing
urine but once a day she normally goes 5-6 times a day .she told her doctor she couldn't hold her urine once she stand up and she was prescribed amitripeyline . is this a side effect? she is also a dietbetic.

2) This may be due to urinary tract infection so you get your urine routine urine examination & ultrasound lower abdomen for rule out cystitis & gynaecological problem.
