Can Sex Therapy Be Helpful?

Hello, I am 25 years old and since I was young I noticed that the only thing that gave me a powerful sexual urge was looking at images of women in bondage. this first came across through cartoons and comic books and i became more adept at finding such material on websites when i was in my early teens. i never questioned it because it had been around since childhood, but as I grew older i became very cognizant of the fact that i was not getting off to more conventional fantasies about coitus--as in the bondage stuff just got me powerful erections to which I masturbated, I did not have to imagine myself having any kind of sexual contact with the women in question. as time went on i became more and more focused on this and eventually my rigidity in erections all but disappeared. Additionally, I have gradually lost a lot of the sensitivity in my penis (and for some reason, even my testicles). now i am in a position in which I do not know exactly where to turn. what are my prospects with sex therapy. would that help? is there any way to move from such a narrow type of sexual gratification to a more fulfilling, committed relationship. can i regain the lost sensation and the diminished sexual capacity that has become such a constant worry for me? please just need some guidance and encouragement. thanks, doctor.

Hello sir and welcome.

In my opinion the best thing for you would be physical contact that would surely help to find sexual pleasure and bliss. I am sure this will work, please find a partner and do not depend on a virtual reality.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
