Can Severe Back Pain, Slight Fever, Stomach Cramps And Nausea Be Indications Of Flu?

My husband has shown flu like symptoms since Monday i.e severe back pain, slight fever, stomach cramps, nauseousness, (but only vomited once on Monday), and headache. He is 68 - today he felt marginally better and was up most of the day with only a slight back ache but now it has come back as severe. IDo these sound like flu symptoms?

Good day!
These symptoms could be flu, could be gastroenteritis, or could be UTi or any other geriatric trouble but none to worry about. JUST VISIT ER and seek help. every thing will be fine to normal.
