Can Recurrent Strep Throat Throughout Life Be Connected To Childhood Sexual Abuse?
I have a question regarding a child who was raped when she was just three years old... That child is me. I am now 43 years old, and I have had several health issues during my lifetime. The person who did this to me, and got away with it. He performed Oral Sex on me, as well as vaginal sex. Growing up I had tons of sores in my mouth, as well as plenty of strep throats. In 2009, I ended up getting Necrotizing Faciitis which I understand it is a form of strep. When I gave birth, they also said I was tested positive for strep as well. Ok, well I need to know if this contected somehow to each other. In other words, did all of this happen because of being raped as a little girl? Thank you for your time. Amy Bethana Enke Brown.

No. In the remotest possibility its not connected with rape and oral and vaginal sex forty years back.
Recurring infection may be due to other concerns of lack of resistance in your body and infection overpowers.
If I were your treating doctors then after having used all the available antibiotics and other measures if the infection still recurs and sustains, I would have advised you get the advise of Ayurveda physician to enhance the resistance and immunity in your body by way of safe herbals.
Herbals are inviting repelling response because these are known for slow effects. But in my career of 33 years I have not seen Ayurveda treatment not curing for decades.
Please go for natural immuno enhancers. But please do not fall prey to costly OTC (over the counter) products sold only by marketing techniques but seek the help of qualified Ayurveda Practitioner.
