Can Rash On Neck And Face Be Allergic Reaction From Temporary Hair Color Spray?

Hi, I'm 18 years old, 4' 9", 145 lbs. I used GoodMark temporary hair color a few days ago and now I have a rash on my neck and face. It's contents are: Butane/isobutane/propane, Alcohol SD40B, Polyvinlcaprolactam/acrylatescopolymer, fragrance, and carbon black. Is it possible to get an allergic reaction from this temporary hair color spray?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

UNDERSTANDING YOUR CONCERN.

I have gone through your query .Hair sprays can cause allergy .The ingedients like propane ,polyvinlcaprolactam and fragnance are commonly cause allergy .

I would suggest you to wash the area properly with mild soap ,take antihistamine drug like benadryl and apply cortisone cream.

If the symptoms of allergy remains after doing above procedure ,consult dermatologist for proper examination and to rule out other reasons of allergy .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
