Can Prostatitis And Varicocele Be Related In Any Way?

it seems as though i have delayed ejactulation lately. It's not shooting out like it used to; I've been diagnosed with chronic prostatitus, but I've recently noticed that I may have a varicocele. could the varicocele be the cause of the ejactulation problem? Are the prostate and varicocele related in any way?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Varicocele may cause the low sperm production, but it may not cause the delayed ejaculation.

Prostatitis is an inflammatory condition of the prostate gland, and that may not cause the delayed ejaculation.

Let me inform you that, delayed ejaculation is not the disease condition and no need to worry about this, only thing is if these are the varicocele and prostatitis then it should be painful ejaculation hope this information helps.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
