Hi,

Based on the given history you seem to be suffering from cholestasis of pregnancy, a liver condition causing intense itching, but without a rash. Udiliv (ursodeoxycholic acid) is commonly prescribed to treat itching associated with this disorder. It does not cause any harmful effects during pregnancy hence can be taken safely as prescribed by your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
